The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci participated in the opening of the Digital Skills Festival in Prizren with the theme “Education & empowerment towards the concept of twin transition”, where the role of this festival is to inspire, educate and help build a more informed and prepared society for future digital challenges.
On this occasion, Minister Nagavci announced that the theme of this year’s festival is fully in line with the objectives of the Government and the Ministry of Education, for the unsparing support of the multiple transitions that Kosova is going through, in step with the rapid changes. all over the world.
Minister Nagavci emphasized that this initiative is the result of a broad-based cooperation, which includes 11 public and private universities of the country, and is realized with the support of several donors.
Nagavci further said that, in the Education Strategy 2022-2026, the digitization of education is one of the 5 strategic objectives, which aims to use digital technology to improve services and quality in education.
Among other things, Nagavci announced that the Government of Kosova and MESTI are advancing the twin transition by taking concrete steps, together with line ministries and international organizations, with the aim of improving the performance of students and for their future.
The Minister of Industry, Rozeta Hajdari, the ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Jorn Rhode, the head of the EU office in Kosova, Tomas Szunyog, the leader of the Center for Digital Transformation in ITP Prizren, Simon Floeth, have also spoken about the importance of this Festival.
