The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the 3rd International Conference “FutureFrames – Artificial Intelligence in Architecture and Urban Evolution”, organized by the Faculty of Architecture.
The aim of this conference is to enable the exchange of knowledge and skills among researchers, professors, students and industry experts in the fields of architecture and urban evolution through the inclusion of artificial intelligence.
Minister Nagavci emphasized that this Conference shows that Kosova is keeping pace with developed countries, creating opportunities for discussing these topics of importance for the entire human society. Also, in the work of MESTI, educational infrastructure occupies an important place, since teaching and study spaces are the environments where our students develop intellectually and professionally.
Nagavci added that the Government and the Ministry of Education have worked and continue to work on the construction, renovation and adaptation of school facilities in many municipalities in the country, as well as to equip them with the necessary tools for the qualitative development of the learning process.
Nagavci further said that, in order to create better study conditions, 173 thousand students in higher education has been exempted from semester fees, and we have given an unprecedented boost to girls and women by offering 4,611 STEM scholarships to them, during this government mandate alone.
Among other things, Minister Nagavci mentioned the STEMinists Conference, which this year was a special panel dedicated to architecture and engineering, energy and railways, with participants from precisely these fields.
The Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, the Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, the Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, and the Rector of the University of Prishtina, Arben Hajrullahu, also spoke about the importance of this conference.
