On the occasion of marking the World Autism Day, the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci participated in the first activity in the month of autism awareness for the year 2024, which was held at the “Gjergj Fishta” School in Prishtina. The purpose of this activity is to collect funds that support the program of the National Association of Autism in Kosova for social cases with autism through recycling from the collection of caps..
Minister Nagavci during the conversation with the school students said that we are together at the beginning of a month with very important activities regarding the support of children affected by autism and also the implementation of an activity which aims to preserve the environment, an environmental issue also very important.
Minister Nagavci congratulated the School’s Student Council for supporting this activity of ANAK and Rugova Corporation, while also talking about the importance of raising general social awareness in supporting children with autism.
The representative of ANAK, Gresa Selmani, thanked the minister Nagavci and MESTI for the cooperation in the realization of the activities, which are expected to be organized on the occasion of the World Autism Day.
Representatives of the National Association of Autism in Kosovo (ANAK), Rugova Corporation, students and teachers of the school also participated in this activity led by the Student Council.
