Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Nagavci receive students benefiting from scholarship schemes at a meeting

The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, hosted today at the Government the students benefiting from various scholarship schemes, including scholarships for studies abroad at the Bachelor, Master and Doctorate levels, as well as the beneficiaries of community scholarships.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Kurti congratulated the students on their success and underlined the importance of supporting young people who aim to study at the most prestigious international institutions.

Kurti stressed that investing in quality education remains one of the main priorities of the Government, expressing confidence that these young people will be important contributors to the professional and social development of the country after completing their studies.

Minister Nagavci praised the commitment and dedication of the scholarship winners, emphasizing that student support schemes represent a direct investment in Kosovo’s human capital.

Nagavci recalled that over the past five years, MESTI has significantly expanded scholarship schemes, both for students within the country and for those studying abroad, and emphasized the commitment to continue working towards increasing the quality of education and expanding opportunities for students.

The beneficiary students expressed their gratitude for the support provided and appreciated the opportunity to pursue their studies at universities within and outside the country. They emphasized that they will put the knowledge they have gained to the service of Kosovo’s advancement.

The Government of Kosovo and MESTI reaffirmed their commitment to continue supporting policies that enable young Kosovars to benefit from quality education in the country and abroad, as well as to contribute to the further development of the country.
