The acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, received today in a meeting the new members of the University of Pristina “Hasan Prishtina” Governing Council, appointed by MESTI.

During the meeting, Minister Nagavci congratulated the new members on their new duties and emphasized the importance of the Governing Council in the strategic development and good governance of the largest public university in the country.

The Minister emphasized that MESTI will continue to support efforts to increase the quality of higher education, advance scientific research and strengthen university autonomy.

The new members of the Governing Council expressed their commitment to contribute to the institutional and academic development of the University of Pristina, as well as to ensure transparency and efficiency.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on close cooperation in fulfilling common objectives in the field of higher education.

The new members of the UP Governing Council appointed by MESTI are: Altin Sahiti, Myesere Hoxha, Berenika Gashi and Arbëresha Nela – Turjaka.
