The acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, hosted representatives of the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) and the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was also attended by the Minister’s Advisors, Fatos Osmani and Arrita Gola.
The Austrian delegation, consisting of Walter Ehmeir from the ADA headquarters in Vienna and Andreas Liebmann, Deputy Director for International Partnerships at the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is visiting Kosovo, where the purpose of the visit is to get to know developments in Kosovo, continue cooperation, meet with beneficiaries of programs supported by Austria and assess the implementation of the Austrian Development Cooperation Strategy (ADC).
The meeting was also attended by Rita Glavitza, Head of Cooperation at the Austrian Embassy in Pristina, and Adnan Ahmeti, Portfolio Manager for Education at the ADA Office in Kosovo.
During the meeting, Minister Nagavci thanked Austria for its continued support in the education sector, especially in the areas of vocational education, higher education and the development of the quality of education, emphasizing the importance of continuing this cooperation in the future.
