The acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, hosted today the members of the State Matura Council, whose engagement has been extended for another term.
During the meeting, Minister Nagavci praised the work and commitment of the Council, especially in terms of digitalizing the process of submitting the exam and administering the State Matura, emphasizing that this reform has brought innovation and efficiency in terms of organizing the exam.
“Within a short period of time, we have managed to make significant progress in the process of preparing and administering the State Matura Exam. This demonstrates the commitment of all stakeholders to increase the quality and reliability of this important process for our students”, said Minister Nagavci.
On behalf of the Council, the chairperson Avni Rexha thanked the minister for her continued trust and support, emphasizing that the work with the members of the KShM has been in the spirit of professional cooperation and shared commitment to the development of the Matura system.
“It has been easy to cooperate with competent, relevant and professionally prepared people, which has influenced every process to be developed with responsibility and transparency”, emphasized Rexha.
The meeting also opened discussions with members of the Council, including those from MASHTI, the Parents’ Council, secondary schools and higher education institutions, who discussed important issues that are expected to be included in the Law on the State Matura, in order for the Matura process to be developed in a fair, transparent and equal manner for all students.
