The Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, together with Acting Deputy Ministers Taulant Kelmendi and Arsim Ademi, as well as other Cabinet members, held a farewell meeting with the staff of MESTI, during which she expressed gratitude to the officials for their commitment and professionalism shown during this period.
During the meeting, the Minister highlighted that recent years have been marked by reforms and significant developments in the education sector, through the drafting of new policies and decisions made in close cooperation with the Ministry’s professional staff.
She emphasized improvements in legislation and infrastructure, as well as support for academic personnel. She also underlined the priority given to vocational education and the implementation of the dual model, as an important step toward linking education with the labor market.
The Minister also mentioned new policies in higher education, including performance-based funding of institutions, aimed at increasing quality and accountability in the education system. In conclusion, she announced that she will continue her contribution in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo as a Member of Parliament and member of the Committee on Education, stressing that cooperation with MESTI will continue in support of further development of education in the country.
Meanwhile, the Secretary General, Fadile Dyla, thanked the Minister on behalf of the MESTI staff for her contribution, dedication, and cooperation during her mandate.
