Minister Nagavci awarded the awards to the students who benefited from creative and innovative STEM projects

The acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the ceremony of awarding 13 awards to the students who benefited from the Open Call for Creative and Innovative Projects in the STEM fields, which aims to promote innovation and applicable solutions to social and environmental challenges.

On this occasion, Minister Nagavci congratulated the students who benefited from the projects for the success achieved and emphasized that their support in the STEM fields is an investment in the future of the country, by appreciating innovative ideas, teamwork and equal inclusion of girls and boys, as well as by encouraging the development of feasible projects that address real needs of society.

The call was open to Bachelor’s students from the faculties of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Architecture at public universities and private colleges in Kosovo, in the period 08.10.2025 – 05.11.2025.

The awards are divided as follows::

Field of Architecture:

First place – 1,000 €

University of Prishtina, Faculty of Architecture with the project “Innovative Library”

Second place – 750 €

University of Prishtina, Faculty of Architecture with the project “Silent Prishtina””

Third place – 500 €

UBT College, Faculty of Architecture with the project “Cultural and creative center with mixed functions”.

Field of Engineering

First place – 1,000 €

University of Prishtina, Faculty of Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering with the project “VitaNet”

Second place – 750 €

University of Prishtina, FIEK and FSHKI with the project “Automated Dam””

Third place – 500 €

RIT Kosovo, Faculty of Computer Science with the project “Air Quality Kosovo”

Field: Applied Mathematics

First place – 1,000 €

University of Prishtina, Faculty of Mathematical and Natural Sciences with the project “Save Wisely”

Second place – 750 €

University of Prishtina, Faculty of Engineering, Electrical and Computer Science with the project “A World Away”

Field: Science
