The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci participated in the Summit of the Albanian Diaspora, which was held in Tirana.
On this occasion, Minister Nagavci emphasized that this Summit is a very valuable meeting point for us as a nation, because meetings of this magnitude, with Albanians from all over the world, they inspire us and encourage us to give more as politicians, as a society and as a nation
Minister Nagavci said that the Summit of the Albanian Diaspora is the widest and most comprehensive platform that unites the great minds of Albanians wherever they are, whether from the field of science, culture, politics or even sports.
Among other things, Minister Nagavci also spoke about the support for Albanian language teachers in our diaspora, the joint initiatives of Kosova and Albania for advancement in science and innovation and improving the quality of Higher Education, through the co-financing of scientific projects, the launch of the KRIS system, a platform for managing information on scientific research and local and diaspora researchers and the Revival of the Kosovar Network for Research and Education – KREN, an essential instrument for providing improved access to the Internet for students , researchers and academic staff in Kosova and abroad.
Minister Nagavci has also announced that, in order to preserve and advance the Albanian language, the University of Prishtina organizes the Albanian Language, Literature and Culture Seminar every year, which gathers prominent scholars, researchers and albanologists from Kosova, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Europe as a whole.
