The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, together with the Deputy Minister, Arsim Ademi, participated in the workshop of the NURIC Project, organized by the Agency for Education and Vocational Training and Universum International College, which was held in the premises of the Competence Center in Ferizaj.
The role of the NURIC Project is multidimensional and aims to develop, pilot and evaluate a flexible program in nursing informatics education, offering nano-courses and certification programs, based on international standards of digital competences, adapted to local needs.
Minister Nagavci emphasized that raising capacities in nursing informatics, with the aim of digitizing health care, are a powerful pillar around which a strong and modern health system is built.
She emphasized that this project includes many parties and stakeholders, where MESTI with Vocational Education and Training plays a key role and touches the sphere of digitalization of education and strategic plans.
Nagavci said that the NURIC project will be a success and its results will serve as an impetus for other similar projects in the future. She believes that the improvements achieved through this project will create a strong foundation for the further development of education and scientific research in Kosova.
While, Acting Director of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training and Adult Education, Fikrije Zymberi mentioned that the project aims to increase the capacity of Vocational Education and Training providers to build sustainable digital educational programs for nursing professionals.
