The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, hosted some of the scholarship recipients from the “Fulbright Foreign Student 2023” Program, who are preparing to start their Master’s studies in the United States of America.
Through this academic exchange program, students who have received scholarships will pursue master’s studies in the USA in the fields of psychology, law, veterinary medicine, journalism, business and neuromarketing.
Minister Nagavci congratulated the students for this success, emphasizing the full support of the Ministry of Education, as co-financier of the scholarships.
Minister Nagavci said that she is happy about the fact that after two years of study these students will return as professionals, and with their educational level they will contribute to the development of the country.
Nagavci emphasized that the Government of Kosova has doubled the funds to support the program, given that the Fulbright Program has a high reputation, and the benefit that Kosovo will have by educating young men and women in prestigious American universities is certain.
Among other things, Minister Nagavci said that, in addition to the focus on raising the quality of education, the Government will continue to support important programs for the professional advancement of our students.
Meanwhile, the students said that their goal is to be an inspiration for young people and with the gained experience to bring changes in the institutions of Kosova.
