Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi hosted the Turkish Ambassador to Kosova, Kivilcim Kiliç. The purpose of the visit was the continuation of cooperation between the two states, as well as the invitation that the Minister of Education of Turkey made to Minister Bytyqi to visit Turkey in March this year.
This meeting will also be attended by Minister of Education of Albania Lindita Nikolla, who together will take part in one teaching hour in Albanian language, being that in Turkey has started teaching of Albanian language in secondary schools.
Minister Bytyqi thanked the Turkish ambassador for good cooperation and at the same time requested that cooperation be mainly focused on vocational education area, as this year is planned to draft the National Strategy for Vocational Education.
The Turkish Ambassador also requested from Minister Bytyqi to visit the schools of the Maarif Foundation and pledged to help education in Kosova in all aspects.
