Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Shyqiri Bytyqi, hosted in the meeting the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Kosova, Piero Cristoforo Sardi, with whom he talked about interstate cooperation in the field of education, particularly with regard to training and exchange of experiences in vocational education.
Minister Bytyqi and Ambassador Sardi stressed the fact that quality education creates development premises in other sectors, especially in Kosova, where there is a large number of young people ready for the labor market.
Minister Bytyqi has informed Ambassador Sardi about developments in education as well as the work being done on improving the quality of teaching and learning and creating conditions for youth employment.
Minister Bytyqi also thanked the Republic of Italy for the support that has given to Kosova in the field of education and has requested further professional and financial support from the Government of Italy.
While Italy’s ambassador, Mr. Piero Cristoforo Sardi, said that education and technology are the main pillars of the development of a country, while pledging that Kosovo will continue to have the support of Italy even in the future.
