On this occasion, Minister Bajrami has talked with teachers of these schools, and visited several laboratories and classrooms. The Minister stressed the role of teachers in improving the quality of education and said that MEST is committed to provide better conditions for quality teaching, while adding that future teachers must finish the teachers’ state exam.
Minister Bajrami, a part of the speech dedicated to the textbooks, some of which will be translated from foreign languages and will be placed on the internet, and advancement of distinguished teacher for which said that in the future will be motivated by incentive wages.
“We are committed to have modern standardized teaching throughout Kosova schools, by replacing the overloaded theoretical teaching with dual one (theory-practice), to successfully implement the new curriculum, who will certainly affect the quality increase”, said Minister Bajrami.
The minister also encouraged teachers to be more active in self-assessment performance and accountability, as well as to continue the trainings for the implementation of the new Curriculum.
At the end, Minister Bajrami has promised continued support of MEST in all aspects, and he promised the renovation of the roof that was burned days ago in the school of Bllace, as well as the construction of sports hall for students of this school.
