Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami on the occasion of beginning of the second semester, has visited primary and secondary lower school “Dardania” in Prishtina, where has congratulated students and teachers of this school, on a good start of this semester, while saying that this will be also the year of promoting digital schools in the Republic of Kosova.
Minister Bajrami, after visiting some of the premises where learning was taking place, said that the year 2016 will begin with demonstration of quality within classes and reformation of teaching and learning methods.
“Now e-diary will be functional, which will replace the classic diary. Will begin with review of texts and will work continuously in order to ensure qualitative education. I am certain that this year will reach one of the main objectives after declaring independence, so construction of a qualitative education system, which will enable creation of prepared generations, creation of a generation which will contribute in the general transition”, was expressed minister Bajrami.
Minister Bajrami said that this year will begin to be implemented also the strategy on quality assurance in pre-university education in Kosova 2016/2020, an important document that foresees concrete measures for improvement of results in education.
“Was adopted the National Strategy for Quality Assurance and we are determined that together with teachers, students and parents, to work in order to ensure qualitative schools. We have also set the principle of accountability, we are building the performance evaluation system, where will be seen which school and which teacher is better”, said minister Bajrami.
Among others, minister Bajrami spoke also for cooperation relevance with the parents’ council, in order to see how many parents are satisfied with that what is offered to their children in school. “The school must provide qualitative education, education and better treatment”, stressed minister Bajrami.
Minister Bajrami also stressed the fact that in the Municipality of Prishtina now has begun implementation of the project for whole-day learning, project which is foreseen to be expanded also in other municipalities of the Republic of Kosova.
