The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MASHTI) and the Kosovo Center for the Rehabilitation of Torture Survivors (QKRMT), through the Memorandum of Understanding signed today, have agreed to cooperate in the implementation of the project “Minds for Peace: Increasing services of mental health in basic education to promote peace”.
Through this project, where the host sponsor is the Rotary Club Prishtina Dardania and the international sponsor Keystone-District 7280, USA, as well as financed by a Rotary Foundation Grant, the aim is to improve and promote mental health services for junior high school students in Prishtina and Gjilan.
In addition, through this project, up to 25 school psychologists will be trained to build capacities in Trauma Informed Approaches, as well as services from trained psychologists will be provided to 250 school students.
