Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Arsim Bajrami has participated today at the public debate for the Draft law on Higher Education and on Regulated Occupations, which was held with teachers of the Faculty of Education of University “Hasan Prishtina”, in Prishtina.
Minister Bajrami emphasized that in the New Law on Higher Education are foreseen high standards and in many dimensions regarding the issue who can be called university, academic calls, effective academic and financial governance, composition and role of the Senate, election and competences of the Rector and of the Steering Council etc.
Minister Bajrami said that, Faculty of Education is very important even for the fact that prepares teachers, who are main pillar of qualitative education. He emphasized as well that the Law on Regulated Occupations is an instrument for creation of quality, by which even the teachers will undergo the profession test.
Therefore, minister Bajrami asked from teachers of the Faculty of Education to be more active in this debate and to give their contribution in having two better laws that regulate this education level.
