Acting Minister Arbërie Nagavci Opens CybHER Boot Camp Empowering 150 Girls in Cybersecurity

Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, today officially opened the CybHER Boot Camp, a pioneering initiative designed to empower young girls in the fields of cybersecurity and technology.

The camp brings together 150 high school students from across Kosovo, all active members of cybersecurity clubs. Over recent months, these students have honed technical skills and developed vital life competencies including critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and digital confidence.

Minister Nagavci praised the program as “much more than an educational initiative,” highlighting it as a model of successful cooperation between public institutions and international partners.

She encouraged participants to trust their potential and pursue their academic and professional ambitions, emphasizing that “gender and background do not define ability or aspiration.”

She expressed gratitude to the British Council, the British Embassy, schools, teachers, and partners for their continued commitment, and commended the students for their energy, dedication, and courage.
