The Acting Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, participated in the workshop “Closing and Certification of the Program for Trainers of Trainers and Professional Practice Teachers on the Implementation of Dual Education in Kosovo”, organized by MESTI in cooperation with GIZ.

During this event, 32 trainers from vocational education schools were certified, having successfully completed the final phase of training.

In her remarks, Minister Nagavci praised the dedication and contribution of the trainers throughout the process, emphasizing that their certification represents an important responsibility in transferring experiences and best practices to other teachers and in advancing the implementation of Dual Education in Kosovo.

The Minister further stressed that linking vocational education with the labor market remains one of MESTI’s key priorities.

The Dual Education Program is implemented in close cooperation with the private sector, with more than 800 businesses involved across Kosovo, enabling students to develop professional skills in real working conditions.

This program is carried out with the support of GIZ and is based on practices from German-speaking countries.

MESTI remains committed, in cooperation with schools, municipalities, and partners, to continue expanding and strengthening dual education with additional profiles, for the benefit of students, businesses, and the sustainable development of the country.
