MESTI announces a call for financial support for five scholarship schemes for the academic year 2025/2026 The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI) announces a call for financial support for five scholarship schemes for students of public universities in Kosovo and abroad, aiming to support academic excellence, inclusion and diversity.
Scholarship schemes
- 1. Scholarship for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities – €1,000 for students enrolling for the first time in the first year (bachelor) at public universities in Kosovo.
- 2. Scholarship for studies abroad (Bachelor level) – Up to €5,000 for Kosovar students studying at Top 100 world universities according to “Times Higher Education”.
- 3. Scholarship for studies abroad (Master level) – Up to €7,000 for students pursuing master’s studies at Top 200 world universities according to “Times Higher Education”.
- 4. Scholarship for students in STEM fields – €1,000 per year for girls/women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs at public universities in Kosovo.
- 5. Elite scholarship for students at public universities – For Bachelor’s and Master’s level students with an average of at least 9 (or 8 for RAE communities), as well as support for students with disabilities.
The application is made only through the e-Kosova platform. The competition for all schemes is open from October 3 to October 18, 2025, 16:00. The lists of beneficiaries will be published on the official website of MESTI.
Candidates have the right to appeal within 7 days of the announcement of the results.
